    Professional Member

    $150 – Non-National SHRM Members

    $125 – Discounted for National SHRM Members (must provide SHRM Member #)

    Individuals, both exempt and non-exempt, engaged in bona fide Human Resource administration or management, in their current or most recent position, who devote their time to personnel, human resources, organizational development, recruiting, employment law, compensation, employee benefits, industrial relations, and/or other HR related functions who demonstrate a bona fide interest in Human Resource Management and the purpose of the Chapter.  The rights and privileges of Professional Members include the right to vote and hold office in the Chapter.

    Transitional Member: $75

    If you qualify for Professional Membership but are currently between HR positions, you may sign up for this membership option for one year, one time only.

    Student Member: $25

    Individuals who are attending college on a full-time basis and who demonstrate a bona fide interest in human resource management and the purpose of the chapter. Student Members do not have voting rights, and may not hold office in the Chapter.  Please note: Student membership is not available for those who are currently employed in a position where they handle HR responsibilities.

    Business Membership: $500 for Four Individuals

    This membership provides professional membership privileges for up to four individuals in one organization.  The business membership allows each company to invite up to four different individuals to attend each of the six educational sessions, and to send four individuals to the annual conference at the member rate.  For a business to take advantage of this membership option, one HR professional must be a National SHRM member and will be designated as the organization’s contact person.  Names of individuals attending monthly education sessions must be submitted prior to the event.

     National SHRM designation 

    If you are a national SHRM member, you will need to let them know that you are a member of Rockford Area SHRM (Chapter 182).  While creating your account, complete the "SHRM National Member Email" field.
