Welcome to Rockford Area SHRM

Welcome to the Rockford Area SHRM website.  We are an affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management, a global HR professional organization.  We offer several opportunities within SHRM:  an opportunity to network, learn, and develop professionally in a local setting, as well as to share in the professional knowledge, and dedicated support and resources available to us as a SHRM affiliate. 

Rockford Area SHRM routinely meets for monthly meetings and networking events throughout the calendar year. We plan programs and events that address a wide range of HR and business topics.  These programs almost always offer SHRM & HRCI credit for SHRM CP, SHRM SCP, PHR, and SPHR certified HR professionals.  Rockford Area SHRM strives to offer our members personal, professional, and leadership development through participation at our meetings, on our committees, and on our board.  We also reach out to organizations within Rockford and surrounding communities who are in need of professional human resource support or services.
