Sr. Human Resources Generalist

Esterline Control Systems – BVR Technologies, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Esterline, specializes in industry-leading avionics computers for commercial and military aircraft, as well as specialized motion-control products for aerospace, medical, and industrial automation. Esterline Control Systems (Control Systems) platform is comprised of four wholly-owned subsidiaries of Esterline which provide complementary control product and service brands that are benchmarks in their markets. 

    Duties & Responsibilities include:

    •Employee relations counseling and conducts exit interviews.
    •Works with managers to ensure training requirements are identified and maintained for each position description.
    •Promotes an environment of positive employee relations, maintaining confidentiality, and establishes trust and credibility with all levels within the organization.
    •Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment practices.
    •Responsible to comply with Esterline employment standards, programs, systems and policies.
    •Supports facility’s benefit administration, service award, and wellness program initiatives.
    •Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
    •Maintain the highest ethical standards, even when challenged from above
    • Senior HR professional with strong background in employee relations
    • Experience in recruiting.
    • Expertise in other HR functional areas of diversity, affirmative action, health and safety and HR services strongly desired.
    • Strong consulting & coaching skills effective advisor employees.
    • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Prior experience working with HRIS systems.
    • Strong public speaking and presentation skills. 

    Preferred Education, Background & Skills:

    •Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related field.
    •Minimum 5 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
    •PHR certification strongly desired.
