HR Manager - RAMP

    Established in 1980, RAMP is a non-profit, non-residential Center for Independent Living (CIL) that emulates the Independent Living Philosophy with a mission that promotes an accessible society that allows and expects full participation by people with disabilities.

    PURPOSE OF POSITION:  To guide and manage the overall provision of Human Resources, Facilities Management & IT Services for the entire organization. The major areas directed include: recruiting & staffing; organizational planning; performance management & improvement systems; organization development; employment & compliance; employee orientation; development & training; policy development & documentation; employee relations; employee communication; compensation & benefits administration, employee safety, welfare, wellness & health; employee services & counseling; and facility/IT maintenance & management.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
    A.      Associates or Bachelors Degree in a field related to the positions job
    activities, or, equivalent work experience;
    B.      One to three years of proven, successful work experience in work similar
    to the positions job activities including supervisory experience;
    C.      Knowledge of Human Resource laws/practices and employee benefits
    administration;
    D.      Ability to effectively manage staff to assure efficiency and success;
    E.      Literacy in computer applications including word processing and database
    management;
    F.      Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to
    present information in a clear concise manner;
    G.      Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining organization and
    meeting deadlines;
    H.      Professional manner in dress and when interacting with others both inside
    and outside the organization;
    I.      Reliable transportation and a willingness to work some evening and weekend
    hours as needed;
    J.      Personal experience with a disability and/or an intimate knowledge of the
    Independent Living Philosophy and a strong desire to see it carried out in
    the community.

    POSITION PARAMETERS:  Reports directly to the Executive Director; Full-Time; Full Benefits; Travel and Expenses Reimbursed; Salaried Exempt.
