    Summary of Presentation:
Danny will explore the real reasons employees leave their jobs, how these reasons have changed, how market conditions impact the reasons employees leave and how employers can prevent turnover. The only report of its kind, the 2018 Retention Report reveals the root causes of turnover and features insights from more than 234,000 employee exit interviews. Insights from the report have been featured in USA Today, Forbes and HR Dive.

When presenting the report, Danny presents findings and discusses case studies from our work with mid-size businesses, healthcare systems and fortune 500 companies. The presentation features the top 10 reasons employees quit and demonstrates a scientifically proven methodology to improve retention.

    About the Presenter:
Work Institute president, Danny Nelms, often speaks to HR groups and SHRM chapter conferences, luncheons, webinars and development workshops. He spoke quite a bit to SHRM organizations across the country since 2015. He looks at opportunities to engage with the Illinois HR community through the local professional organizations, and chapters like the Rockford Area SHRM.

Danny has presented the 2018 Retention Report as a keynote and workshop at the Virginia State SHRM Council, Tallahassee SHRM and he spoke to the Dulles, Virginia SHRM chapters, to name a few.  Just last October he spoke at the Kankakee chapter.

Approval for continuing education credits from SHRM and HRCI are pending.
