Summary of Presentation:
Far from the cumbersome and even loathed events they’re perceived to be, performance processes are actually powerful tools for enacting change — if we know how to use them. Unfortunately, many organizations have focused too much on the results and have lost sight of what’s most important: the people. The good news is, we can fix this. New technologies are emerging that transform performance from an evaluative to a performance development for the entire organization. It’s time to drop the one-off, one-way annual evaluations and adopt ongoing, growth-oriented conversations and AI-driven recommendations that spur personal development and ignite performance. The transformation begins with us. As managers, our number one priority is to motivate and coach our people to higher performance — to help them discover, unlock, and fulfil their potential.
Presenter: Yutaka Takagi, HCM Technology Manager, Ultimate Software
Yutaka has spent his career demonstrating the value of HCM Technology to HR managers and executives at companies across industries. Having worked on both sides of the customer-vendor relationship in various roles - across HRIS, system implementations, sales, and product development - he brings a unique perspective to all of his thought-provoking presentations. Yutaka graduated with a degree in economics from UC Berkeley and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. He currently resides outside of Chicago, IL with his wife and two children.
